Aperio Image Analysis provides easy-to-use solutions for the automated quantitative evaluation of brightfield and fluorescent slides. Powerful image analysis solutions combined with an intuitive interface enables users to easily tailor algorithms to their own specific needs.

The broad menu of trainable algorithms can be run on whole slide images, regions of interest or batches of slides, with a range of deployment options to meet your unique requirements. Automated quantification of complex staining enables researchers to interpret biomarker expression and stratify individuals and cohorts. Improve accuracy, standardization and reproducibility in tissue analysis by removing the subjectivity and inter- / intra-observer variability inherent in manual review.

Aperio RUO (Research Use Only) Image Analysis Algorithms have been validated by Leica Biosystems for use with .svs images from Aperio AT2, Aperio CS2, and Aperio VERSA scanners. Use of Aperio RUO Algorithms with other available scanners has not been validated, and Leica Biosystems cannot train or support customers in use of Aperio RUO Algorithms with images from these scanners.

The Aperio Membrane Algorithm detects membrane staining for individual tumor cells in a selected region, and quantifies the intensity and completeness of the membrane staining. Use the Aperio Membrane Algorithm to measure expression of IHC biomarkers specifically within the cell membrane, while excluding staining in other subcellular compartments (cytoplasm, nucleus).

Aperio Cellular IF Algorithm – Quantitative Cellular Immunofluorescence Analysis

The Aperio Cellular IF Algorithm enables fast, accurate measurement and colocalization of up to 7 fluorescence channels, plus counterstain. It will distinguish between fluorphores localized within membrane, nuclear and/or cytoplasmic cellular compartments, in digital pathology whole slide tissue images. Retrieve objective, reproducible data from multiplex-stained tissue, which is challenging to quantitate by eye.

The Aperio RNA ISH algorithm provides stndardized quantitation of RNA ISH staining in digital pathology whole slide images of FFPE tissue.
